  • Kristy Ritchie, CVT

    Kristy Ritchie, CVT

A native Oregonian, Kristy grew up with a passion for animals that started before she learned to talk. Knowing she wanted to work with animals, she landed her first job with PetCo at the age of 16. In time, she started working at Beaverton Pet Clinic, first as a kennel worker and then moving up the ladder to certified veterinary technician in 2007 and then to head technician over a 9 year span. Her dedication, knowledge and skill set make her an invaluable asset to the clinic in her patient care and client relations.

In her spare time she enjoys time with her many pets, camping, trips to the beach (including a trip with her mother to learn the basics of glassblowing), family and friends, reading, board games and puzzles and watching Jeopardy.
  • Sidney Michelson, CVT

    Sidney Michelson, CVT

A child of a father in the military, Sid has lived all over the U.S., including Florida, California and Hawaii, only ending up in Oregon upon Mr. Michelson's retirement. Sid started his career working with animals by volunteering at the Bonnie Hayes Animal Shelter at the age of 15 which, in turn, led to a part-time job at PetCo at 17, and then moved on to Beaverton Pet Clinic in 2000, getting his veterinary technician certification in 2008. Sid has a great attitude and the ability to find fun in almost every task assigned.

Sid enjoys reading, video games, camping, fishing, traveling, time with family and friends and sundry pets, photography, gardening/yardwork, movies and drawing.
  • Alicia Gratteri, CVT

    Alicia Gratteri, CVT

Alicia is the employee with bragging rights for being the longest term worker at Beaverton Pet Clinic, starting in 1992. She received her veterinary technician certificate in 1999. Anyone who has ever met Alicia can immediately sense that there hasn't been a critter she didn't like, not being shy about falling in love with every cat, dog, rabbit, hamster and rat that comes in the door. Her life's dream is to eventually set up an animal sanctuary somewhere on the Oregon Coast for wildlife and rescued domestic animals as well.

Her current menagerie includes 2 mixed breed dogs and 4 cats, but she has unofficially adopted every four-legged creature who crossed the threshold of Beaverton Pet Clinic. Her outside interests include: movie thrillers, Twilight books, wildlife (wolves, cougars, bears, orcas), wilderness and oceans, folklore such as Celtic and native Northwestern, and needlework.
  • Jaime Lambert, Veterinary Assistant

    Jaime Lambert, Veterinary Assistant

Jaime's first introduction to Beaverton Pet Clinic was over 20 years ago as a client who, having the responsibility of caring for an elderly kitty, learned a lot about animal nursing care firsthand. In 2007, Jaime was hired on as a veterinary assistant and has proven herself to be a valuable employee with her cheerful nature, attention to detail and eagerness to help and to learn.

Yet another native Oregonian, Jaime grew up in Portland, and now lives with her husband, Scot, on land in the Scholls area that boasts a creek that flows through the wooded portion of the property. Consequently, she enjoys regular viewings of deer, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, chipmunks, skunks, porcupines, the occasional bobcat and lots of birds including hawks and a Great Horned Owl. As a property owner, she has had to learn lots of skills which include small engine maintenance, drywall repairs, basic plumbing, electrical, driving her John Deere tractor and tending her Noble Fir Christmas tree plot, vegetable patch and her rose garden. If that didn't keep her busy, she also is a highly skilled bowler, winning many prizes in her leagues. She uses her cross-stitching and sewing to enhance her dedication to Christmas decorating indoors and out. Many people might be surprised to know that Jaime has been a certified scuba diver which she put to good use on a trip to Australia, diving on the Great Barrier Reef with sharks and other marine life!

She is also the dedicated parent to her cats Nicholas; Juliet; two newcomers, Sabrina and Samuel; and her saltwater fish collection
